The Marlini Dress
A perfect & quick project for complete beginners <3
All you will need to make this dress is:
1) The free pattern (comes with an instruction booklet + a video tutorial)
2) A round tablecloth with a diameter of 175 cm / 70 in. (A bit smaller or bigger works just fine too!)
3) A sewing machine with a zigzag stitch or a serger
4) 60 cm / 23.6 in of bias tape

Size Chart
CM | INCHES | |
---|---|---|
Bust | 72 - 93 | 28.3 - 36.6 |
Waist | 60 - 79 | 23.6 - 31.1 |
Hips | 85 - 105 | 33.5 - 41.3 |
Since this dress is made using a standard tablecloth size, the possible size range is unfortunately very limited! :( This project is suitable for you if your measurements fall within the ranges displayed in the table.Keep in mind that if you are towards the lower end of the range, the dress will have a very loose fit whereas if you fall closer to the higher end, it will be more form-fitting. For reference, these are the model's measurements: B: 85 cm, W: 72 cm, H: 98 cm
FYI: All of my other patterns offer a much wider size range (made up of 17 different sizes) as size inclusivity is very important to me! This pattern is the only exception as the whole project is constructed around a pre-set tablecloth measurement. <3
